INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

1.         As Company Second-in-Command (Coy 2IC), 9 Construction Company, 19 Engineer Construction Battalion (ECB), Chittagong served during the period from 11 October 2008 to 18 January 2011.In this capacity, was actively involved in the construction and repair works of fol roads:

a.         Bandarban–Nilgiri road and Chimbuk–Thanchi road in Bandarban district.

b.         Khagrachari–Dighinala–Baghaihat–Kashalong–Mashalong–Sajek road in Khagrachari district.

Responsibilities included comprehensive planning, coordination, and supervision of road carpeting and repair activities. Additionally, oversaw the construction of RCC bridges, retaining structures, and other associated engineering works essential for ensuring road stability and operational readiness.

2.         As Project Officer with BANENGR (CONSTR)/15 in UNMISS, South Sudan, I supervised and coordinated construction and engineering activities including POC preparation, security posts, prefabricated accommodations, internal road maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades. I also managed major road projects, perimeter fencing, land leveling, staff accommodation renovation, drainage systems, helipad maintenance, and the Bangladesh Navy launching platform at Mangala Port. Key Road Projects:

a.         Juba–Mangala Road – 80 km

b.         Juba–Rocon Road – 56 km

c.         Bori Village Road – 3 km

d.         Juba City Road – 3.5 km

3.           Project Officer, Swimming Pool Projects – Kaptai Lakeshore Resort & Happy Island, Rangamati. As Project Officer, responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all aspects of the swimming pool construction projects. Duties included preparing project schedules, managing resources and budgets, supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring quality standards and safety compliance, and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders. Oversaw structural, plumbing, and finishing works, ensuring timely completion of both projects in accordance with design specifications and project objectives

4.         As In-Charge of GIS Units and Assistant Director (Survey), I oversaw a wide range of map-making and surveying activities, ensuring precise spatial data collection and analysis to meet national mapping requirements. I led the preparation, updating, and validation of digital and topographic maps using advanced geospatial tools and survey methodologies. Additionally, I provided technical guidance to field survey teams and contributed to the development of geodetic datasets supporting national planning and major infrastructure projects.

5.         Project Director (PD), Bay Watch 5-Star Resort, Inani Beach, Marine Drive Road, and Sagor Nibash Resort, Marine Drive Road, Himchari, Cox's Bazar (01 December 2021 – 05 August 2022). As Project Director, I held overall responsibility for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple high-end resort construction projects. My duties included developing project schedules, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, monitoring progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and managing budgets and resources effectively. I oversaw construction activities on-site, including structural, architectural, and finishing works, and ensured compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines. I also liaised with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders, resolving technical and administrative issues, and ensured that project milestones were achieved on time and within budget. My leadership ensured the successful completion of Bay Watch 5-Star Resort and Sagor Nibash Resort, enhancing Cox’s Bazar’s tourism infrastructure.

6.         GSO‑1 (Research), Research & Development Wing, MIST, Mirpur Cantonment. As GSO‑1 (Research), responsible for providing advisory, research, and consultancy services, including supervision and material testing. Conducted research in both theoretical and applied domains to support institutional development, and managed the preparation and administration of budgets and accounts for research, extension, and development programs. Oversaw the publication of journals, brochures, prospectuses, newsletters, research reports, and bulletins, while supervising the operations of the central library. Maintained the ‘Digest of Service’ to document all significant events and activities conducted by MIST, ensuring proper record-keeping and dissemination of research outcomes.

7. GSO‑1, Chief Engineers' Office, MIST, Mirpur Cantonment. As GSO‑1 in the Chief Engineers’ Office, responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and supervision of engineering and maintenance projects across the MIST campus. Duties included overseeing civil, electrical, and mechanical works, monitoring construction and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, preparing technical reports, and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal departments. Supported infrastructure development, maintenance of campus facilities, and implementation of engineering projects in line with institutional objectives.
